Sanga: I share a poem I sent to the Devi Mandir after receiving Shree

Maa's 9 planet chant CD last year. I was moved. It is simple but the

feeling strong.

Shree Maa 12-26-04

Guru and the Kite

I reach to touch Mother's feet

As her voice rings in Puja

Cajoling the sacred planets

To be kind in their influence

Mother is like the kite

Benjamin Franklin engaged

To reach out to the sky

Touching electricity

So I reach to you Mother

That the purity of your being

The heights you reach

Might somehow convey

The currents of our Lord

That shake us awake

The sharp purity of your innocence

That cuts the tethers

Allowing us to fly free

Om Tat Sat

Beloved Sadumaa, Jai Jai Maa!

Thank-you so much for sharing this very powerful prayer/poem!

i ordered Shree Maa's 9 Planet Chant CD, yesterday, and am really

looking forward to receiving it.

"She Who re-arranges the planets if need be"

Jai Chandi Shree Maa! Jai Shiva Swamiji! Jai Thakur Ramakrishna Deva!

Your sister slowly dissolving in Mother's Love,

muktimaa

P.S. My very favorite line of your poem is :"The currents of our Lord

That shake us awake" oooh...shiver me timbers to the bone! :<)
