Guest guest
Are all the mother earth sankapa q + a in one place somewhere? Is the sankalpa to do each planets mantra on it's day a certain # of times, for a whole year? Or might one do, say, the complete # of malas for chandra on monday of week #1 then malas for mercury for week 2. etc or what? Need some clarification dan
Guest guest
Dear Nanda, I am beginning on Jan 29th..Amavasya..with Surya..just signed up. "FYI, at the Mandir, they are chanting at the fire between 5 and 6 pm everyday and the folks chant a minimum of 10 malas of any one planet on a given day"..thanks very much for this information. I will try to co-ordinate my japa with the chanting at the Mandir...to slip into the Mandir shakti, even though I am on the other side of the country! thank you for this wonderful opportunity! love, sadhvi
Guest guest
Dear Nanda, What I plan to do: I will also start on January 29th with Surya. In order to give myself a real chance of accomplishing the sankalpa and also keep up my puja practice etc., I have devised a schedule of 30 weeks in which I'll be reciting the malas for each planet on its own day (and Rahu and Ketu on alternative days), finishing the whole sankalpa in 30 weeks, i.e. the number of malas mentioned by Devnath in his original post. I hope to become such an accomplished japa-ist that I'll be able to add more. But my practice sessions with the cd have taught me that to recite without getting the tongue getting caught in the different bijas is not an easy matter:). Thank you for offering to keep the score of our efforts; it always helps me very much to know others are doing the same thing and to have the support of the group. I derive much strength and courage from the knowledge that you all are out there praying with me. But most important is the never failing support of our beloved Shree Maa and Swamiji, without whom none of this would be accomplished, may we all realize how privileged we are to be able to pray for the universe, with love Henny , "nityashakti" <sadhvi@p...> wrote: > > Dear Nanda, > I am beginning on Jan 29th..Amavasya..with Surya..just signed up. > "FYI, at the Mandir, they are chanting at the fire between 5 and 6 pm > everyday and the folks chant a minimum of 10 malas of any one planet > on a given day"..thanks very much for this information.
