Guest guest
Dear All, I attended a week long workshop recently but it seemed like a month as the hours were long and the breaks short. What kept me going was the thought "our prayers are reaching into the universe". The theme of the workshop was "Above the Line" and it basically taught that the principles such as spirituality, love, humility, truth, honesty, etc was above the line and that we should all try to make these principles part of our daily lives - untruth, hatred, greed, lust were considered below the line. The facilitor also talked about going within and finding the self. What was interesting also was the case studies, we did 3 - Martin Luther King, Mandela and Mahatma Ghandi and of the 32 persons attending, only 3 were interested in talking about Gandhi some said openly that Gandhi "confused" them and they could not get his bio read. Thanks to the understading gained from Beloved Gurujis and this forum, I was able to present the case study on Gandhi which was the one of most interest to me. I am not sure of the religion of the Facilitor but the workshop as presented reminded much of the values and lives that we in this formu are trying to live.
