Guest guest
Dear Kali bhaktas, I've always been fascinated when reading about Trappist monks getting up in the middle of the night to pray and sing the Psalms, but this fascination never prompted me to actually get out of bed to follow their example. The thought of being awake in the dark while the whole world (well not really the whole world, but you get the idea) is asleep and sing for God was perhaps a nice idea, but the idea of getting up on my own in the cold and leave my warm bed was not. But now I did it! And it was all thanks to Swamiji, who suggested we join him and Shree Maa and the group at the Devi Mandir, and to you here who decided to take that opportunity. Now it was no longer a matter of getting up on my own; I was getting up to join our beloved Gurus and friends in prayer. And it was wonderful! To be able to sit in that special silence of this dark night and then start singing the names of our Divine Mother with you all! Thank you so much for the inspiration and the motivation, KALI MAA KI JAY! Henny
