Dear sadumaa ~ originally, I was going to respond to this off digest, but as I was writing, I thought, perhaps there is someone else like me, who cannot keep up, who feels perhaps they don't belong for this reason, and so I decided to share my response with the group. I am writing to let you know how much your post about the Mother Earth Sankalpa touched me. I run to and fro from this group because I never feel I can keep up with the level of sadhana others are doing. When I looked at the first page of the download and saw 6,000 japa, I freaked out. I know that Swamiji always says we do what we can according to our capacity, and the group is supportive of whatever one does. Still I feel so "other" because of my illness and the limitations it causes. Reading your post about doing one mala with attention and devotion brought me back to the essential point, and even Shree Maa and Swamiji state this on the website "Worship means paying attention. Learning takes place when one pays attention. When we love something or someone, we pay attention. We offer respect through paying attention." I love this everytime I read it. Thank you for the reminder. Jai Maa , Jai Swamiji ~ Linda
