Dear leela ~ I live in a little desert valley too. Actually it is high

desert in southwestern NM (Silver City), with the town and some of the

surroundings (desertscape) at about 5,000 feet, nestled at the base of

the Gila National Forest, with its beautiful pinon, pine and juniper

trees at 6,000 + feet. Where are you? Nice to meet you ~ Linda

i am in the new mexican high desert too...east of santa fe at about 7500 ft, my

neighbors

are bear, coyote, bobcat, an elusive mountain lion, redtail, etc.

 

glad to know we're amping the vibration around here together

We live in NM also, 5300 feet elevation on a ridge in SE Albuquerque

between the Sandias to the east and the Rio Grande river to the west.
