Dear Kanda ~ wow! we are almost a satsang ... just spread apart. : ) I lived in Albuquerque for a short period of time, and I came to love the beautiful majesty of the Sandias. I wasn't there long enough to get to know the area, but it just goes to show you how varied our Mother Earth is, even in the same state. The mountains here are not so big or craggy as the Sandias, rather then are gently undulating, what we used to call back east, "foothills," rising into higher yet still rounded looking mountains. I have also been across the Black Range once. That has a stark beauty that is almost too much to take in. I wonder how many others are in NM.
