Guest guest
Namaste Linda, We're talking about two different texts, Kali Sata Namam is 100 names stotra and its origin ( as far as I know )is the MahaNirvana Tantra - chapter 7, shloka 11 until 32. It's an independent text and not part of a longer one. Kali Sahasra Namam is the 1000 names stotra and it has some different versions according to different sampradayas, I don't know about its origin but it's certainly not from MahaNirvana Tantra. Other Kali hymns that can be found in Swamiji's " Kali Puja " are the Adya Stotram from Brahma Yamala Tantra and Kali Kavacam from MahaNirvana Tantra. Mother Kali blesses us Jorge Farias > Dear Jorge ~ thank you, and yes, I am already aware of this as someone on > the digest told me about this when we were doing Chandi Sankalpa last year.
