Leela/all on E.M. Sankalpa - and why "just" 3-4 malas a day will work!!

Also, you had asked about the significance of the number of malas

mentioned - I will forward to Swamiji, but I just wanted to mention

that the TOTAL number of malas for all the planets add up to 1200.

That seemed an interesting number to me. Maa wanted us to do this as

a sankalpa for the whole year - 2006. And so it translates to 100

malas per month (of all the mantras). Suddenly 100 malas a month - is

3-4 malas a day and seems VERY doable to me (I am averaging 3 malas a

day now) I figure that even if I add one more mala a day (to make up

for the "lost" time in the month of Jan) I can still complete this

sankalpa comfortably by the end of the year without sweating too much

Trust Maa to give us challenging yet reachable goals !
