Guest guest
Rudrastadhyayi again, as well as the Thousand Names of Shiva again, and also perform japa of 10,000 times the mantra Om Namah Shivaya. If we have time, we will perform the Maharudra Yajna, which is a series of Samputs offered with the Rudrastadhyayi. It has required a new book, similar to the book we did called Pronunciation and the Chandi Samputs. We haven’t had time to publish Maharudra Yajna yet, but hope to get to it soon.We send you all our blessings, and pray that the Gods and Goddesses bless us all.All our love and blessings,Shree Maa and Swamiji
Guest guest
Hi Nanda Ji, Actually you mean Maha Shiva Ratri. There is a Shiva Ratri every month of the India calendar. Pranams, Surya - Nanda Tuesday, February 07, 2006 1:18 PM Message from Swamiji on the occassion of the 10th day of Navaratri Vijaya Bhava!Namaste. Today is Dasami, the last day and victory celebration for the Navaratri, and Shree Maa and I send all our love and blessings!Remember, Navaratri can be celebrated any time, but there are four times that are special: winter, spring, summer, and fall. There has been some confusion between Navaratri and Shiva Ratri. Navaratri means nine nights and ten days of worship. Shiva Ratri is one day and one night only.On the occasion of Shiva Ratri we will perform the Cosmic Puja, as we do every morning, and then the Chandi Path, as we also do every day. Then we will recite the Rudrastadhyayi and the Thousand Names of Shiva, which is in the Shiva Advanced Puja Book.In the evening we will perform the Advanced Shiva Puja four times: at 6 PM, 9 PM, 12 AM, and 3 AM, offering milk, yogurt, ghee, and honey respectively. In between the pujas we will recite the Rudrastadhyayi again, as well as the Thousand Names of Shiva again, and also perform japa of 10,000 times the mantra Om Namah Shivaya. If we have time, we will perform the Maharudra Yajna, which is a series of Samputs offered with the Rudrastadhyayi. Dear Maa and Swamiji ~ it is hard to imagine being so fortunate as to have our dear gurus send us a personal message. I have no words to describe it. Bhava soars, Chanting resounds, Both enthusiastic and sweet. The Gods and Goddesses gather, the Fire rises igniting the Spark within. This Cosmic Love streams Light into every heart, embracing Mother Earth. And we Her children, your children, Swamiji and Maa, accept this gift with wonder. Jai Maa!!!!! Jai Swamiji!!!!!!
