Guest guest
Its always so cool when Maa does that! - Nanda Wednesday, February 08, 2006 8:57 AM When Maa read my mind ... Dear All, Usually after we complete any recitation at the fire at the Mandir, we make an offering - usually a fruit, a coconut and so on. Last Sunday was no exception. When we completed chanting the Chandi, Maa had asked some of our devotees to offer coconuts to the fire. I was standing a little behind Maa and the thoughts ran through my mind "Maybe I too should offer a coconut someday" and then amended it to "Maybe I too should offer a coconut for the club" A minutes later, after the day's offerings were done, Maa turned and walked towards me. She told me "You should offer a coconut" and then "You should offer a coconut for the club". I stood stunned for a second. Then I rallied back and told Her "Maa, you just read my mind". Maa laughed, gave a playful slap to my back and walked on .. So dear friends, with Maa's blessings, I will offer a coconut for the welfare and wellbeing of all of us and our families and friends. I hope I will get the opportunity soon. I will keep you updated. Jai MAA !Nanda
Guest guest
Yeah it sure is. Too bad my mind makes such a big deal of it. I bet it would happen more often if I would just accept that its part of who She is! Think about how much it would help me to know that She knows my deepest thoughts and desires. She knows all my fears and worries. But no. I pretend to myself that I have a part of myself hidden from Her and when something like this happens to prove me wrong I make a big deal of it to keep the delusion that She doesn't know my deepest inner secrets. Boy the mind sure is tricky! Guest guest
OM NAMAH SIVAYA She definitely knows what is deep in there. but to me the best part is nothing makes Her happier than if you put those thoughts, desires, fears, and worries on a silver platter and serve them up to Her. She not only takes them but Loves us all the more for doing it. the trick is not to take them back, because if we ask She will also give them back. hopefully over time we let Her keep them for good. She is like Vinod's example of the Sun. She just Shines. Shines Love. JAI KALI MAA , "Brian McKee" <brian wrote: > > Yeah it sure is. Too bad my mind makes such a big deal of it.
