My dear Linda,

I cant tell you how much your post touched me. I love that you want to

go listen to one of Swamiji's classes or Shree Maa singing as a way to

acknowledge and honor them.

If chanting the entire Guru Gita is too much for you , perhaps you could

start at the beginning , chant as many verses as you can this thursday,

continue from where you left off the next thursday. And continue in the

same vein the all the following thursdays too. Perhaps you could say

divide the Guru Gita into four portions and finish the text in 4

thursdays , ie within a month. Just a thought ...

Another option would be identify those verses that specially call out to

you and chant those verses only each Thursday. For example, I like the

verse "Guru Brahma Guru Vishnu ...Tasmai Shri Gurave Namah" - Verse 32

of the Guru Gita.

Hope this helps! Please do post and let us know how your Guru Gita

chanting went ... And chanting even one verse counts !!!!

Love

Nanda
