Jai Maa , Jai Swamiji > ~ Linda Hi Linda, Guru mantra is the mantra that the guru gives you as part of mantra-initiation. there might be a "generic" guru-mantra which might be a way of saluting the guru (like "Om Amriteshwaryai Namah" for Ammachi), but that is not what I was referring to.
