Beloved Sadumaaji, Jai Maa!

i am deeply moved by your prayer/poem...beyond the realm of tears.

My heart feels like it is being wrung out like a wet towel, for i

identify with every word you have expressed with such purity and

intensity. Your line: "I am dusty with travel, and more than a little

worn around the edges"...WHEW! Now, the flood gates are releasing.

Thank-you so much dear Sadumaa, for sharing and baring your soul with

us in such a soul-stirring manner. May Maa and Swamiji guide you and

bless you, and always light your way. May your longing be quenched

with Divine Union.

Your sister melting in Love,

muktimaa

Thank you Muktimaa. I often hesitate to share such, but know that I am

not the only one in this sanga with these stirrings. Om Shanti

Dear Mukti-Sadhumaa,

Sri Ramakrishna taught, "Ordinary people practice spiritual diciplines

in order to cultivate a little devotion to God. It is like crossing a

ricefield by walking around the edge of the field.

"But when one loves God as one's own, when one develops raga-bhakti,

then it is like crossing a ricefield after the harvest. Then (with all

the obstructions removed) you don't have to walk the long way around

the edge. You can walk straight across the field in any direction.

"Again, it is like reachinng a near-by village by boat in a round-

about way along a winding river. When the fields are deep under the

water (of ecstatic love for God) you can row your boat straight to the

village."

The guru prescribes various diciplines for all, but the magic touch of

the Guru is that Grace-full blessing which leaves one deeply and

profoundly in love with God.

Respectfully,

Tanmaya
