Dear Friends,

Om Namah Shivayah! Tomorrow is the Blessed Shiva Ratri.

I have always heard that Lord Shiva is very kind and answers your

prayers. He does. I heard our Beloved Maa say this to one of my

friends.

In the Advanced Shiva Puja, almost at the end, on page 469 is

Kaupinpanchakam.

Kaupin is the loin cloth that wandering sadhus wear. This is their

only posession. Swamiji interprets it to represent the spirit of

renunciation. May Lord Shiva bless us all with the spirit of

renunciation.

Some great verses to chant from the Advanced Shiva Puja book are

Sadhan Panchakam (p 5)

Siva Dhyanam (p 11)

Siva Sankalpa Stotram (p 31)

Ganeshatharvasirsham (p 49)

108 names of Ganesha (p 64)

Siva Kavacham (p 186)

108 names of Siva (p 188)

Sivastakam (p 204)

Siva Sahasranama (p 255)

Purusa Sukta (p 448)

Rudrashtakam (p 453)

Lingashtakam (p 458)

Siva Panchakshar Stotram (p 462)

Bhava Sagara (p 465)

Kaupinapanchakam (p 469)

Siva Chalisa (p 471)

Jai Shiva! Jai Maa!

with love and prayers

srini
