Dear Edward ~ thank you so much for sharing your experiences, including your visionary ones. This is part of me also, though, culturally, most of my nonordinary experiences seem to have a shamanic or Native American appearance or context. I believe this is so close to me because of two recent past lives, both as an Indian, one as a male, one as a female. Both of them had challenges and gifts, and it seems that much of my life this time has been learning new ways to express both of these aspects of myself, to take the challenges I didn't do so well with last time and have them become strengths, to be grateful for the gifts and share them to my full capacity. I have had several lovely encounters with Swamiji when my hope in being part of the group seemed to be lagging. I really like what you said about being "tickled by the Lord." What a wonderful way to describe the indescribable. It is so hard to describe that I never truly knew what it meant until it happened to me. I thought of myself as a spiritual person, interested in spiritual experience and evolution; I thought of myself as a devotee. I had no idea. I was still in kindergarten. Now I understand when someone says "I fell in love at the first sight of my guru," or "I knew the moment I looked at a picture of Her/Him." Shree Maa and Swamiji have opened their hearts, and I fell in love. Jai Maa , Jai Swamiji ~ Linda
