Guest guest
The Shiva Lingam placed at the front of the Havan Kund is called Yajneshwar The Shiva Lingam that is outside of the main temple ( a 5 min walk from the main temple and has its own little space in the woods surrounding the temple) is called Napeshwar (I had put up a picture of this Lingam a few weeks ago on the group). Linda asked:> Question: From the above, it sounds like at least one of the altars was > outside the main temple. Does this outside constitute the inside of a larger > building, where the main temple is the "inside" and the other altars are > "outside," but still within the overall structure of the building? I have seen it > thus in the one Hindu temple I was ever fortunate enough to visit.> There is only one altar outside the main temple. It is about a 5 min walk from the main temple - and is called Napeshwar. Hope this helpsLoveNanda
