Guest guest
Dear Kalia, the sankalpa you've taken is such an inspiration to me! This is what makes this group such a special place; there's always someone showing you the way to go forward:). I was just reading a book by one of Ammachi's devotees, describing how Amma would keep a pile of little rocks next to her seat, to throw at devotees who were dozing off during meditation. Somehow, Amma would just know when the devotee was no longer quite 'there'. It started me thinking: if we consider that the Divine Mother is everywhere and aware of everything, perhaps we can rely on Her to notice that one of Her devotees has fallen asleep even while struggling to stay awake and to throw one of Her 'stones': perhaps the motion of your head falling forward will wake you, or a sound, or a 'you don't know what'. And perhaps after a while She won't have to throw so many stones anymore:). Anyway, thank you for sharing and for the inspiration. May your mind be filled with the firm determination of the Consciousness of Infinite Goodness, with love, Henny , "kaliananda_saraswati" <kaliananda_saraswati wrote: > > > ", Nanda <chandimaakijai@> wrote: > > > > Dear All, > .......... > When I walked back with Swamiji, I mentioned it to him and > asked "When the body really needs the rest, how does one keep going on > at the Sadhana?"
