Guest guest
Can you please offer guidance for how to establish a small temple in a spare room or suggestions for building a small temple on one's property? Also, I have been thinking of first building an outdoor havan kund. Can you provide guidance for how to do this in the most auspicious way? Thank you Shri Guru. My love and devotion to Shree Maa as well. I feel her hands on my ears and hear her voice in my heart. Jai Maa!Swamiji's response:Spend more time in worship than in making the space. The deities will face south or west, the worshipper will face north or east. Try to find a space that can be dedicated only to worship. The havan kund is a little more involved. Have you been practicing the homa as yet? If not, start with the beginner's homa in the Hanuman Puja book. Then move up to the more advanced in the Shiva Advanced Book. Also watch the video CD How to Draw the Yantra and Enkindle the Sacred Fire. That's a lot to start with.
