Guest guest
Swamiji, Hello Kind One! Do you ever see, of observe, any tendency in humans, to participate in spiritual practice, but to inadvertently thwart or ignore their own emotional fullness as integrated loving beings, retaining an unnecessary defendedness, or separation, or is this only a phase, or not an issue at all? Guest guest
Excellent question. If I understand correctly, the question is one of wanting to lead a spiritually-based life but 'where we are in life' may not be spiritually centred and it even thwarts our attempts to be there. If so, I want to add to this. 1. Is this phenomenon the result of the resistance to the burning of samskaras? 2. Is this what the christian mystics call the 'dark night of the soul'? 3. How do we manage to stay on top of our manifesting negativities on a day-to-day basis when we get exhausted in the journey? 4. Is it ok to take a reprieve and indulge just to get the heat off us temporarily before we start again? Sorry, too many questions. I ask the same question in many different angles just to make sure I am clearly understood. As always, I look forward to hearing from you, Swamiji.
