Dear Chara ~ welcome to this wonderful group. :::looking around to check::: not sure how many saints there here, or at least I can speak for myself. I am just a beginner, even after a year, but being a member of this group has been life-changing. The people here are wonderful and diverse in their ideas and personalities. But what unites us all is our unswerving devotion and love to Shree Maa and Swami Satyananda Saraswati. These two are far beyond being saints, and they give us their love every single day. Is Maa Tara the same as Green Tara? I am familiar with Tara as a Buddhist Deity. Is she also a Hindu Deity? We are always so happy to see new members, and there is lots to explore on our site, both in the files section, where you can find information on a year-long group sankalpa we are doing on behalf of Mother Earth (if you see the the acronym, EMS, it means this sankalpa, but only turning the words around about a bit: Earth Mother Sankalpa). Because this is a year-long sankalpa, anyone can pick up anytime and join. And Maa and Swamiji's website is simply incredible. Again, so glad to "meet" you, and I know we are all looking forward to getting to know you better. Jai Maa , Jai Swamiji ~ Linda
