Dear sadumaa ~ in my previous response to your post, I missed the pearl. Consistency is also my greatest challenge, and I am so thankful for the EMS Sankalpa because the way I have chosen to do it, which is to chant the mantras for the specific days of the week they go with, means that I do something everyday, according to my capacity. Last week, I was sick and got behind, so I was chanting the mantra on the day after the one it went to, but by the end of the week, I managed to get back on track. It may not seem like very much to only be chanting 2 or 3 malas of the particular planet in one day, but for me, it is huge, not just the doing of it, but the doing of it every day. I am learning an important lesson. And then on the days when there is something else to be added, like the Prayer Club day, I must be efficient and determine how to include that without missing my EMS Sankalpa. I am very grateful to Shree Maa for providing this opportunity for all of us, and for me it is a special gift in learning consistency. I am also grateful that She provided different suggestions of how we could do the sankalpa, to allow for differences in personality, capacity, etc. Now I am hearing Mitra's song playing in my head: "She is our mother, we bring Her flowers. We chant Her name for hours and hours, and She takes our darkness away. She takes our darkness away. Shree Maa is the flower in my heart ~ Linda
