I was listening to the audio file of Swamiji's class on the 3rd

chapter of the Bhagavad Gita this morning. He mentioned a list of

forms of sacrifice (e.g., homa, dancing, explanation, etc.) that I

remember reading either on shreemaa.org or in this group. But I cannot

find it right now. Can anyone help me and post the url to this page?

Thank You

Yes, that is exactly the list I saw on the site. But is it the same

list that Swamiji lists when describing sacrifice in his commentary of

Chapter 3 of the Gita?

Well, I relistened to the class myself, and yes, it is the same list.

This is truly the most profound explanation of sacrifice I have ever

heard. One must act. It is our nature. But it is best to act without

attachment. And the most efficient way to act without attachment, or

unselfishly, is to perform sacrifice, which in truth covers more than

just the concept that we traditionally consider as a sacrifice.

By sacrificing, or performing selfless action, we are imitating the

divine, who continually acts selflessly. So we are offering sacrifice

both TO the Divine, as well as AS or LIKE the Divine.
