Dear Lokesh ~ in responding to what you say, I will use one of my

favorite metaphors: we are all just bozos on the bus ... except of

course for the respected Great Souls, Mahatmas, Ma's and Swamis. They

are the drivers of the bus. Sometimes we go over a bump in the road.

"Yikes!" Sometimes there is a sharp turn around a big mountainous

drop. :::I'm hiding my eyes::: Sometimes there is a smooth stretch,

and it is just ... "Ahhhhhhhhhh." Sometimes we are nearly hit by

another bus. "Oh no!" And in the midst of all this jolting and

careening and smooth riding, we still go on, as best we can, with our

sadhana, our sankalpa, our curiosity, our questions, our worship.

Sometimes we are so absorbed in our worship that we don't even notice

those "Yikes!" moments.

 

I bow down to the person who put you on this list, whomever (s)he was.

What a blessing. I hope you feel this way too. Your sincerity,

curiosity, honesty, and, if you don't mind me adding, sweetness are a

blessing to me and probably to many others. I only read earnest

interest to learn more in whatever you write. And some of what you

write is beautiful, and then I copy it for my DM folder. : )

 

I don't think any other Ma's or Swamis need anyone to take up for

them. I'm pretty sure they don't care. They are only interested in

our curiosity, our sincere desire to learn and practice, and our love

and devotion. And if we choose one instead of another, they have no

ego to be involved. In reality, they, as we, are all One. We are so

luck in this Kali Yuga time to have so many mahatmas and Great Souls

walking the Earth. I have never read anything from you that

contradicts this in any way. Jai all the Ma's , Jai all the Swamis ,
