Jai Maa beloved family!

Devotion="Dev Ocean" The Ocean of Divinity. :<)

Devotion is something that is very hard to describe. It is a welling up

inside our heart; a bursting forth..."the urge to merge". It is an

intense burning and longing to dissolve into the object of our

Devotion. Subject and object finally merge and become one; actually,

They always WERE one...but now it is realized...the soul is re-

awakened. Pure Devotion requires 100% attention to the ideal.

We, as little rivers are carried back to the Ocean of God's Bliss, by

our intensely pure devotion.

Is Wisdom [Jnana] separate from Devotion [bhakti]? No, not

really...There is a point in our Spiritual Experience where they

intersect...Devotion begets Wisdom...Wisdom begets Devotion. However,

in my humble opinion and experience, Devotion or Bhakti is the Sweeter

Path. Many of the great mahatmas say that Bhakti is the best path for

the Kali Yuga. [which, of course as most of you already know, is the

age we are now living in.]

Our dear Swamiji mentions in His "spiritual hand book". "Tattva Jnana",

[which can be found through this link:

http://www.shreemaa.org/bookstore.htm ] the 9 steps of Devotion, which

are taken from the "Ramayana". These 9 steps of Devotion are:

1. Associate with saintly people

2. Enjoy stories of divinity and divinely inspired beings.

3. Feel the privilege to perform selfless service as an expression of

love.

4. Sing about divinity without any selfish motivation.

5. Recite mantras with full faith.

6. Perform all actions with tranquility, and see every circumstance as

an opportunity to manifest perfection.

7. See the world as equal to God, and regard the company of saintly

beings as a greater opportunity than the perception of God.

8. Be satisfied with whatever we receive as the fruit of our actions,

and do not contemplate the faults of others.

9. Remain with simplicity all the time, renounce conniving for selfish

ends, and take delight in faith in God with neither exultation nor

unhappiness.

May we all experience the Sweet Bliss of Pure Devotion!

Namaste Muktimaa,

Inseparable. The beauty and joy for a person is that the rays of the

Sun are the expression of the Sun. It is not a question of which you

worship, it just Is worshipful. In love moment by moment.

Om Namah Sivaya

My tears offered to the devine, may my inherent expression of devotion

continue forever.
