Guest guest
Sri Ramakrishna — I said to Narendra,[who later became Swami Vivekananda] `Look here, the Lord is the sea of rasa (nectar; liquid sweet). Don't you want to dive into this sea? Well, just imagine there is a bowl of nectar. And you are a fly. Where will you sit to drink the nectar?' Narendra said, `I will sit on the edge of the bowl and sip by projecting my mouth towards it.' I asked, `Why? Why sit on the edge?' He said, `If I go further, I shall be drowned and lose my life.' I then said, `My boy, there is no such danger in the sea of Sachchidananda. It is the sea of amrita (immortality). By diving into this sea nobody dies. On the other hand, one becomes immortal. By going mad after the Lord one does not lose one's head. *From the Kathamrita Your sister dissolving in the Ocean of Maa's Love, muktimaa

It is not a big move, in surrendering to what is. We say I'm sorry, or excuse me, or other simple things expressing how we feel about someone or an event. Dive into Satchidananda, it is recoginizing that which IS . Yes there are different Samadhis, a toe in the ocean, sharing a wave, and dive into; none are more or less than the other. You are touching into the Self, experiencing the Self, or losing yourself in the Self. Om Namah Sivaya
