up your home environment and remove excess clutter. Lakshmi is

attracted to cleanliness. At Diwali, the festival of lights,...women

clean their houses the night before the new moon to help attract

Lakshmi. On Diwali, they light oil lamps to invite her, because it's

believed that she is drawn to the sparkling cleanliness and the

sparkling lights. It's easier for her to bring good things to life

when our lives are organized and when we're making an attempt to be

more organized."
