Chandi Path Sankalpa for Navaratri - Please save this post

Dear All,

 

For all of us the will be chanting one recitation of Chandi during the

Spring Navaratri this year (from Mar 29th), here is a way in which we

chant each day so that we will finish one round by the end of the 8th

day. The 9th day we will reserve for thanking our Gurus.

 

Please note that the Durga Sapta Shloki is also known as "Seven Verses

that express the essence of She who relieves all difficulties"

 

Day 1 - March 29 : All the preliminaries as per Swamiji's book

Day 2 - March 30 : Chapter 1

Day 3 - March 31 : Durga Sapta Shloki and Chapters 2 & 3

Day 4 - Apr 1 : Durga Sapta Shloki and Chapters 4

Day 5 - Apr 2 : Durga Sapta Shloki and Chapters 5, 6, 7, & 8

Day 6 - Apr 3 : Durga Sapta Shloki and Chapters 9 & 10

Day 7 - Apr 4 : Durga Sapta Shloki and Chapter 11

Day 8 - Apr 5 : Durga Sapta Shloki and Chapters 12 &13 and conclusion as

per Swamiji's book.

-Dear Nanda,

 

I come from North India, and each Navaratri (Sping and fall) my

mother would establish a Kalasha (pot). I was wondering if something

like this is also done at Devi-Mandir and how to go about it.
