I have been looking for ideas (one having been suggested before to read from "The Guru and The Goddess," and especially "The Guru Gita" each Thursday.) I really like your suggestion and have copied it down for my DM notebook (having no more room on my fridge .... I now have to resort to a notebook :::grin::. Here is a mantra that someone from the Devi Mandir sent to me when I was asking for a special guru mantra for Swamiji. I have the one for Shree Maa, but had not seen any for Swamiji (and please note, I am not suggesting that you use this one in place of the one you are currently using ... just want to share what I was given). Here it is: Om Namo Bhagavate Sri Satyananda Namo Namah Please, for whomever* I received this from, if I am not getting this correct, send the correct version because I am using this., Jai Maa , Jai Swamiji ~ Linda P.S. Recently I was telling my hubby something during a discussion. He began to get irritated with me, and when I asked him why, he said, we've discussed this several times. I felt a bit sad and reminded him that, due to my illness, I forget things. It is not that I'm deliberately discounting what he may have said before. I truly don't remember. I share this because, as indicated above, I have already forgotten who sent me the mantra for swamiji. So dear ones, if I forget who may have told me something, in a post or off-digest, please forgive my poor memory and understand that I mean no disrespect.
