To Muktimaa and all: Again, Thus spake Sri Sri Sarada Maa, Holy Mother

Dear Muktimaaji and all,

still thinking about Sarada Devi's words and about the relationship

between Grace and sadhana, and what you said, dear sister, I suddenly

see how our willingness to perform sadhana IS the Grace. It is the

Divine Mother who makes us do everything. Our opening ourselves to the

Grace, the emptying of the cup: it is all Her doing. The opening and

the receiving: it is all Grace. She makes us starve, She makes us cook

and eat, She empties us and full-fills us. One more excerpt from the

Gospel of the Holy Mother (now I have re-discovered this book, I can't

stop reading because many things have taken on a new light since I

have come to the Devi Mandir. By the way, what is 'Holy Mother' in

Sanskrit?):

"Another time when the Holy Mother was at the Koalpara Math, I said to

her: "Mother, I am hardly able to do any spiritual practice." Mother

gave me courage as well as assurance, saying, "You need not do

anything special. I shall do the needful for you." Astonished at this,

I asked, "Shall I have to do no spiritual practice?"

Mother: "None.

Disciple: "Will my future progress not depend on my own deeds

henceforth?

Mother: "No, what will you do? I shall do whatever is necessary."

Jai Sri Sarada Devi, Jai Thakur Ramakrishna,

Jai Muktimaaji,

with love,

Henny

Jai Maa, beloved sister ji!

i am sure there are probably technical answers from the world of

correct Sanskrit translations...:<)...but for me, without a doubt,

HOLY MOTHER in Sanskrit is "SHREE MAA". Jai Shree Maa Sarada Devi!

Dear Henny and Muktimaa,

I am enjoying this exchange of words as much as the information being

gathered. Regarding Henny's question on the sanskrit for Holy

Mother - Is the answer Sri Maa?

Jai Maa
