Dear Family,

I just wanted to share some things that I learned about the Cosmic

Puja from our Beloved Swamiji.

On page 40-43, when we chant Shanthirasthu, Pushtirasthu, etc.,

Swamiji offers flowers to the various deities on His altar. Again

on pages 99-100, for Bhutapsarana, He offers flowers for each verse.

>From page 111-137, we have four pujas for different forms of the

Divine Mother: the Matrka Puja, Nava Durga Puja (1), Nava Durga Puja

(2), and Nava Patrika Puja.

The center of the altar is the bindu on the Yantra, Point # 36 on

page 137. This point corresponds to Om Hrim Jnanatmane Namaha.

Swamiji explained that each of the 16 Mothers and the Nava Durgas

are holding us by the hand and guiding us inward to this point, the

soul of infinite Wisdom. Imagine many Beloved Mothers holding our

hands and pulling us inward to our own soul!

For the Yogini Puja, on page 171-181, we offer petals on the Yantra

for each of the 64 Yoginis. When we finish the Yogini Puja, we have

a beautiful pile of petals on which to establish the deity (p 210 -

219).

On page 217, Swamiji has written 108 times japa. Don' forget that! I

missed the small print the first time and same day Swamiji asked me

if I did!

with love and prayers

srini
