Guest guest
Jai Shree Ma This is the way I see that. A person who has realised the full divinity could not do justice in His/Her marriage because he couldn't be partial to anybody and if you get into wedlock you are partial to someone. We know what Lord Buddha did in His marital life. Mata Karunamayi or Mata Amritanandamayi or Hanuman would not marry. As far Lord Rama, he has given word to Bharata and Ayodhya people that he will come to rule that place after completing fourteen years in forest. He knew that people will cast slander on Him if he took Seeta back and Rama could not stay with slanders. At the sametime he was very sure of Seeta's purity. As everyone who chooses to stay with Lord Rama, have to work as per His strict injunctions, Seeta had to undergo fire ordeal. Yet aspersions were cast on Him and later he sent Seeta away to the forest. To accompany Lord Rama or Jesus always, one has to be a martyr. Arjuna or Panchali as friends to Lord Krishna also had to suffer a lot. Everyone of these people know that the Lord is always with them which is the only solace in these ordeals. This is the way I see this episode. Jai Maa! Mahadevan venkitaraman , eric capa <sunsals108 wrote: > > Dear Swamajii and Shree Maa, > > Jai! too you both. Thank you so much for the last two weekends! It was so wonderful to finally meet you both and have Shree Maa's darshan! after four years! I wish I could spend every Saturday singing bhajans with you and recieving Shree Maa's Darshan !! Both your energies are so sweet and wonderful! It's bliss to be in your presense. > > Swamjii, I have had a question though regarding the Ramayana. I don't understand why Ram does not take Sita back after she has been rescued and then even after proving her fidelity to Ram. I was really hoping for a happy ending there!! Maybe I'm a hopeless romantic, but it just seems like such a let down. There love is so celebrated and if Ram is so exempleary, why does he not take her back? How can he even doubt her? It seems so sad and a real let down. > > Love and Pranams to you and Shree Ma! JAI !!!!! > > Tejo Ram > San Diego > > > > Messenger with Voice. Guest guest
Namaste Tejo Ram, I'm glad you asked this question because I have been struggling with this, too. I have sang the Sundar Kand with Maa and Swamiji several times, but I didn't know the full story of the Ramayana (i.e. the ending). When a friend told me about it, I was very confused. I had meant to ask Swamiji about it, too, so I will be waiting for His input. Jai Maa, Gauri , eric capa <sunsals108 wrote: > > Dear Swamajii and Shree Maa, > > Jai! too you both. Guest guest
Me, too. , eric capa <sunsals108 wrote: > > Thanks. I think he's answer was very helpful. Maybe not the way I would have liked it to end. Personally, I wish Ram could have just enlightened his people and he and Sita lived happily ever after, but for some reason I feel better after Swamajii's reply. > > gabilu27 <gabilu27 wrote: Namaste Tejo Ram, > I'm glad you asked this question because I have been struggling with > this, too.
