Guest guest
for a number of scriptures. We have several ideas for new classes to amplify, explain, and demonstrate these translations. It is our hope that the next generation of sadhus will have no doubt as to which principles we dedicated our lives and why.We want your input as to how we might implement these classes. How many of you would be able to physically come to the Devi Mandir one or two nights a week for sat sangha or a class? How many of you would be interested to tune in to a live broadcast via webcam one or two nights a week, and to ask questions in a live chat or on the group forum? How many of you would be interested in reading archived transcripts or listening to or viewing online classes from our website on a regular basis?Do any of you have other suggestions on how we can share the commentaries we wish to make about the books that we have written? =========================================================

Guest guest
I would be able to tune into a webcam or live chat on a weekly basis .... I can also read transcripts online ... Guest guest
Namaste Swamiji, Option number three would certainly be of interest to me. Regarding option number two, I would need some additional information: how does that work and what would I need (a webcam of course, and other software?). If the technology required is within my means and usable for a digitally challenged person like myself, I would also be very interested in that option. To have visual contact can be very important, as I found out when trying to follow the description on tape of certain mudras without being able to see the demonstration. I think option number two is the next best thing to physically coming to Napa twice a week, which unfortunately is not possible for me. with love, Henny , Nanda <chandimaakijai wrote: > > Dear All, > Here is a message from Swamiji for our group. Guest guest
Both audio and video versions of classes would be useful. The MP3 files from previous classes available for podcast at http://devnath.typepad.com/devnath/ are very handy. MP3 audio files for podcasting would be useful for any future classes as well. - Alan , Nanda <chandimaakijai wrote: > > Dear All, > Here is a message from Swamiji for our group. Guest guest
Jai Maa!!!! We are so blessed. Nanda asked: "We want your input as to how we might implement these classes." "How many of you would be able to physically come to the Devi Mandir one or two nights a week for sat sangha or a class?" When the time is right and the invitation comes, I will move to be closer to the Devi Mandir and would love to attend weekly classes or sat sangha. Currenly, I live a long plane ride away. How many of you would be interested to tune in to a live broadcast via webcam one or two nights a week, and to ask questions in a live chat or on the group forum? Yes, I am interested and would very much value this opportunity. The bhava at the Mandir is so amazing. It would be wonderful to have this shared around the world with Shree Maa's devotees. It would be wonderful to experience the focused sadhana of our Gurus and long time devotees, Maa's generous love, the bhava of the Devi Mandir, the dedication, and the wisdom and joy from Swamiji. It will be pretty labor intensive to coordinate a live chat. "How many of you would be interested in reading archived transcripts or listening to or viewing online classes from our website on a regular basis? I am interested in this as well. I would love to tune into a live broadcast, but I work most evenings, so I would probably not be able to tune in when you all would be having the webcast. > How many of you would be interested in reading archived transcripts > or listening to or viewing online classes from our website on a > regular basis? Yes! This would be great! I've already enjoyed the online material that's available now, and would love to have more available for study. I agree with Henny that it's invaluable to be able to see the positions for such things as mudras without having to guess what to do from a written description (even though it's a blessing even to have a written description!!). It's always so exciting to see video of pujas and homas at the Mandir, and I already have Swamiji's DVD and the Shree Maa and Swami tour DVD. I would purchase any additional DVDs immediately, and any future online video clips are a huge blessing to have! > Do any of you have other suggestions on how we can share the > commentaries we wish to make about the books that we have written? How about having the commentaries not only in a file format on the website, but also as actual published and bound companion texts -- or, for example, a puja and commentary or scripture and commentary published together as one book? Just as an aside about visits to the Mandir, for those of us who are very far away, if there were one or two annual special events to which out-of-towners were invited to attend -- possibly a three- or five-day retreat combined with puja/homa -- I bet that many of us would attend, if there was notice several months ahead of time, and we could plan for it. So many people on this group would love to be able to have Shree Maa and Swamiji's darshan, and a chance to learn from them in person. Thanks to Swamiji for asking for our input! Guest guest
Jai Maa, Jai Kali, Jai Bhavani, Jai Shiva, Jai Swamiji, Thank you Nandaji for conveying this message of Swamiji. Personally, I would love to move out to California area, and be close to Maa & Swamiji and the Devi Mandir Family. But with me, my parents would have to move out as well, so this might take a year or two for it to happen, if it's Maa's will. But until that time, I will take advantage of the other options, if my computer is not capable of tuning in live, the proper upgrades to the computer will be made, so that I can participate in that medium. I will think about other ways to share the commentaries, as I become more involved in this process. Thank you to Maa and Swamiji for offering us this opportunity, just like everyone else, if I lived closer to the Devi Mandir, I would definitely LOVE to be part of the sat sangha and the classes in person, but alas.... sigh.... Guest guest
"How many of you would be interested in reading archived transcripts" Maha Pranams Swamiji .. I would definately be interested in reading archived transcripts. My internet connection is slow and my computer is fairly old.. Transcripts would be perfect for me as I could print them out and save them. I live in the Midwest..It might be neat to offer workshops at Devi Mandir over a course of several days in a row making it possible for out of town devotees to travel out on an extended stay to participate.
