Guest guest
Regarding Swamiji's question about new wonders on the website: Dearest Swamiji ~ all the additions and changes to the website you mention sound wonderful. Just for comparison, I will add that I am attending an online music school, where we have seminars and classes in the e-auditorium, as well as submit and listen to Mp3s of our songs. For the participation, to talk and listen, in the e-auditorium, all that was required was an inexpensive set of headphones with a voice mic. This really does add to the immediacy of the experience. I would come to the Devi Mandir at least once a week, perhaps twice for a sat sangh or a class (maybe once for a class and once for a sat sangha ... that would be so wonderful). Tuning in to a live broadcast via wecam (which my hubby just told me is not that expensive), and being able to see as well as ask questions in a live forum would be an incredible expansion of an online group experience. It is also true, that, whenever a class or a sat sangh or forum is scheduled, some would be able to attend and others would not. There is no one day or time that will work for everyone, so being able to listen and/or view transcripts from online classes would be a great gift. Other suggestions ... okay, the new aspects of the online participation would add, I am assuming, to the existing classes that are already on the website. (At least I hope you aren't planning to get rid of those; I am just getting started.) I may be making a wrong assumption when I think that these live classes, sat sanghas, forums, would be led/presented by you and/or Shree Maa. (That in itself would be such a blessing, I can't even describe it in words. It has been too long since I have seen the two of you ... your last tour, Issaqua, WA.) It might be nice also to have a time, once a week, or even once a month, where the members of the digest could just gather together for a live chat. We have so much to share, and writing is very labor intensive. Such a chat would probably need a moderator though, as otherwise we'd all be stepping on each other's toes in the excitement of actually "talking" to each other. Another idea would be a time to gather online and via webcam, perhaps sing together. I'm not sure this would work, but if it did, it'd be wonderful. Or perhaps this could be part of the sat sangh. The main obstacle here would be having access to the lyrics so we can participate. It has been an amazing adventure to experience the expansion and evolution of your website "home," and I know that expanding in any of these new ways would be a continuation of this adventure. Thank you, Swamiji, and to Shree Maa also, for caring so much about us ~ Linda
