Dear kalia ~ I have a pc laptop, and, since I know zilch about computers, when I read Swamiji's questions, I asked my hubby about the webcam. Even my laptop can support one, and they are not expensive. Another alternative, though, which I started to mention to Swamiji, but then didn't is the one we are using at SongU. For seminars in the e-auditorium, I have an inexpensive pair of headphones with a voice mic attached. There are two plugs that plug into my computer, one for voice, one for headphones. This way, we can attend the seminars and listen as well as talk. Perhaps someone can pass this along to Swamiji, since I left it out, but you should still be able to hook a webcam to your pc just fine. If you have any more questions about it, just ask. Someone in the group may know, and if not, I'll ask hubby. Blessings ~ Linda

Anywho, thought I add to this post about webcam and headsets. I have a webcam to my pc and is real easy to connect and use. The headset, also connects from the USB, in back of the computer where the static is much less and better clarity. LOGI TECH is about $50, but others are less expensive. I think this is real exciting. Teleconferencing is a very cool idea. I look forward. Hope your cup of Java is good on ya! Guest guest
Thanks Linda for your kindness. Though it was not said, the very next day I started seeking to upgrade the pc, unfortunately the parts are not as readily available in these parts.
