Love, Dharma It's been said before, but at the age of 42, I have frequently recalled something my father told me - in short, that when he hit 40, he realized he didn't know a dam thing after all, as a result, the 40's were the best years of his life :-) Everthing is relative to the mind, including the mind itself... - Alan Gaskins Facts are merely the points at which understanding is temporarily satisfied. - Ravenkross Get Your Private, Free Email at http://www.hotmail.com

That's silly, physical age has little to do with anything :-)... many of the ancient sages and saints died long before they ever reached 40. I still have over 5 years to go until age 40, and don't find life dull or boring in the least (even though I live alone and am by myself 95% of the time!). I treasure such silence and alone-ness, because it's only this physical body that's alone. MySELF contains the entire universe, and every person on the planet. *KNOWING* this (rather than just believing it), the possibility of loneliness is gone forever. There is a tendency with many to become wiser as they get older, but that certainly doesn't apply to everyone. I've met men in their 60's and 70's who are worse than many adolescents as far as wisdom goes :-) With Love, Tim ----- The CORE of Reality awaits you at: http://www.eskimo.com/~fewtch/ND/index.html - Poetry, Writings, Live Chat on spiritual topics. Of course... the closer I get to total union with Brahman, the better my life seems to get :-)... but I still maintain it has little to do with age, at least in my case. >No... I say, get wiser and younger! That's certainly a way to go :-)... especially for those who follow karma yoga and tantrika and some other spiritual paths, they seem to get "younger" as they get older, I.E. more childlike (a "good thing )."
