Guest guest
Beautiful good friend. A testament to the death of ego, and immersion in the absolute. May I keep this and share with friends? Bhaktananda Marcus Harsha (Dr. Harsh K. Luthar) <hluthar < >; NondualitySalon <NondualitySalon > Tuesday, March 16, 1999 9:48 PM True Love "Harsha (Dr. Harsh K. Luthar)" <hluthar I wrote this some years ago. Have posted it before..............Harsha TRUE LOVE, DIVINE LOVE I fell in love I fell in a well I fell in a well of love I splashed all about trying to get out out of the well of love; terror seized me came this thought all is lost. Tried to swim out heard myself shout Help! A drowning man gasped for breath close seemed death I wildly thrashed around in the well of love and in time got out safe and sound. Cold and shaken lost in thought dripping from head to toe; I was not sure if the battle fought had been with a friend or foe. Still, my shivering body sought no shelter and with no place to go stood quietly into the night until the sunrise again brought back life's glow. It was then that I missed love; and many times circled the well of love. Looked inside but could not tell how deep it was. I felt its call the well of love and could not look away but how long can one stand on the bridge of faith and bear such human pain so I could not help it and jumped in the well of love again. Now, water water everywhere all thought has ceased to be and everywhere I stare My love's face is what I see Yes, water water everywhere not a single sound is made I did drown in the well of love and only love remained. Guest guest
Ha! Life is full. Nityananda is my Guru, my Bhakti (devotion). Gurubhava! (union with the Guru). I love only him. In him Marcus is lost and rests in everything and nothing. Our posts do seem to be crossing karmic paths! Love Marcus Harsha (Dr. Harsh K. Luthar) <hluthar < > Wednesday, March 17, 1999 5:57 PM Re: True Love Thanks Marcus for your kind words and presence here. You are perceptive. Indeed, I wrote the simple poem (True Love, Divine Love) to describe as closely as I could the spiritual struggle culminating in the experience of Nirvikalpa Samadhi. And yes, do feel free to share this poem with friends. By the way Swami Nityananda (Guru of Baba Muktananda) was given to me as an example of a Realized Sage in the Shakti tradition by my teacher many years ago. As is common in many yogic traditions, Swami Nityananda stopped eating a few months before Mahasamadhi. This is how my teacher's teacher passed away as well. Wishing you well Harsha Gemini [currwamp] Tuesday, March 16, 1999 11:01 AM Re: True Love Beautiful good friend. A testament to the death of ego, and immersion in the absolute.
