Hello Harsha,

I too remember you from my times on the K-List.

Introductions are in order...

My name is Thomas Bradley. I work as a software engineer in

Crewe, Britain. I am actually from a small village in North Wales,

Ffestiniog. I want to go into contracting work, working from home in

about 3 years time, as that is the way I will be able to return to my

home village. It's a cultural thing - I speak Welsh, and most of my

friends are from the area of my village. Also the countryside is very

nice, lots of mountains and lakes.

I have been interested in Eastern religions for nearly 20 years.

I have belonged to a Zen group, and once went to a mosque so that I could

find out about schools of Whirling Dervishes. I unfortunately didn't

find out much, but the people I met there were very friendly.

I know bits and pieces of Indian philosophy and metaphysics. At

present I'm trying to contact Dieter Dambiec to find out what school of

Indian philosophy he espouses, since he sent me information on a certain

school which interested me a great deal.

I have just moved into Crewe and will soon be taking classes in

Tai Chi and Reiki. I have done Kundalini meditation and I want to

resume my practise of it. At the moment I have to stay in a bed and

breakfast hotel, but once I move out into a flat I will resume

meditation.

Spiritual progress means several things to me - I want to

develop as a Kundalini meditator, and make the meditation more vivid by

coming to know more about the nature of the chakras. I also want to

develop in Taoist Yoga, which I have also practised.

One concept in Indian philosophy (and also the Gurdjieffian

/Ouspensky Fourth Way) is that of multiple bodies. I have an interest

in the esoteric/occult Astral Plane, which is something I want to

experience more fully. I have had some out of body experiences, and I

would like to have them more frequently. I am also interested in Remote

Viewing - the idea of being able to transcend time and space and view

whatever interests me appeals to me. I like the later works of Carlos

Castaneda, and would like to practise the Magical Passes he left us, and

also remote view some of the aspects of reality he wrote about in his

work.

I see things as an adventure, and Kundalini and other forms of

meditation appeal to me

because of their volatile, transformative nature.

My current interest is Stellar Energy Meditation. I have been

reading books on Taoist meditation and I notice that they have

meditations which involve focussing on stars and drawing spiritual

energy from them. There is a powerful image in Mantak Chia's work of a

meditator locating their spiritual body in space above the planet and

absorbing cosmic energy from the stars. I have also recently developed

an interest in Stone Circles. There is one by a nearby village in North

Wales, and want to meditate on the stars there. I am sure they did

something similar 5000 years ago, when these circles were built.

Anyway, that's me!

Thomas Bradley
