If there is lack of feeling, it is not real. If there is only happiness and no sadness, it is false. To feel with all your heart, This is enlightenment. To Be with all your Being, This is enlightenment. To love with all your Soul, This is enlightenment. To give with all your might, This is enlightenment. To know that 'me' is unimportant, To treat all with respect and kindness, To Love All with the deepest depth, To be naked before your fellow man. Detachment is OK; but it is not enlightenment. Dispassion is OK; but it is not enlightenment. These things may lead toward enlightenment; But they are not enlightenment. Enlightenment is not narcotic euphoria. Enlightenment is not nerve ending stimulation. Enlightenment is not like being on a drug. If it is, you are far away from It. Enlightenment is a light shining in the Heart, To be simultaneously past-present-future; To never forget, but to live for Now; This is what it is all about. Enlightenment is a burning love, that will not be quenched. It is a responsibility to love, with everything you have inside. It is to be unconscious of Self; To be conscious only of All. Enlightenment is the most ordinary thing. It is nothing different than You have always been. You will notice little difference. You will still suffer, but suffering will not wound anymore. You will still grieve, but grief will not be blocked anymore. You will go so deeply into Life, that you will become Life, And then Life will become an ultimate mystery to You, and become also the most ordinary thing, so ordinary, so ordinary, and yet so mysterious. You will feel the awe of a tiny child. To love thy neighbor as thyself. That is only halfway. To love thy neighbor better than thyself, This is enlightenment. Throw thyself upon the world Forget correctness, drop all barriers. Love the lord thy God, with all thy soul. Love the lord thy God, with everything inside. Be a person of the deepest feeling, the most sincerity. Never lie to another again. Just be honest with everyone. Enlightenment is not difficult. You are already there. Just open your arms wide, and hug the universe. ....
