Another reminder to be mindful. > > Love, > Judy Judy, Thank you. For many of 'us', 'family' is or has been, a living hell. It is all too natural to re-create this 'living hell' at every turn of the road. For me, what 'spirituality' is really all about, is to cease the recreation of personal and social 'hells'. Just learning that, for me, has been a 'vast liberation'. It is pretty easy to fall into a state of 'spiritual detachment' and thus live in a trance of disconnection; but crisis, which can be our 'best friend', has a way of awakening us to the undone work of our individual lives. Somehow, I have learned to avoid (so many) crisis-type arisings, by remaining dedicated to doing the work with myself that needs to be done, no matter how redundant it may seem to 'others'. This 'work' probably seems quite basic or even boring, and lacks the 'flash' which seemed so attractive to me at one time, but it has to be done. By me. For me. Wishing you the best, ==Gene Poole== "Community is the sharing of the burden of personality"
