Christiana: As Rachel knows from our private correspondence, this "job hat" I wear is she who you described above. What I'd like to add, however, is that there are librarians... and there are librarians. It sounds as though Rachel lives in a small community where they may not have access to videos or even the internet. Resources are often limited by one's tools and personal biases. As I work in Information Services for the San Francisco Public Library (6,000-10,000 people come through there every day) with good access to both online and paper resources (as well as working some in Interlibrary Loan)... what I'd like to propose is the following.. Rachel, if you can let me know where you live, I can let you know the closest "Interlibrary Loan" source to request books from. (These loans are done library to library nationally). and.. as I am not a Hindu, nor am I well versed in who to recommend, if those of you who are, could send me (and Rachel) titles and authors, I will work with her to track down available titles. I suggest this be best done off list.. my two email addresses are: cpd christianad Rachel, I respect your passion, your courage and your maturity. fondly, Christiana
