Verses 8,9 from Sky of The Heart:

 

Verse 8

 

Just as we see a reflection of the sky

 

In a vessel's still water,

 

So we see the sky of consciousness

 

With the inner eye.

 

 

Verse 9

 

If God is in you and you are in God,

 

Then creation and dissolution--Maya--

 

Dissolves in the Self.

 

For those free of the world's bondage,

 

There is no forgetting the Self.

 

One who knows that we are not the body has

 

Eternal bliss.

 

The Self is free of ideas of honor or dishonor;

 

One who gives up these ideas has reached

 

The goal and attained peace.

 

In the infinite there is nothing finite,

 

But without the guru, you cannot reach the goal.
