Guest guest
Harsh List, Verses 70-72 of Secret of The Siddhas: 70. Shakti dwells at the base of the spine in the spiritual center called the muladhara, and Shiva at the crown of the head in the center called the sahasrara. The sushumna extends from one to the other. The awakened Shakti rises from the base of the spine and unites with Shiva. This union brings perfection. The state of Siddhahood arises from this. 71. Shaktipat, or the awakening of Kundalini, can occur in many different ways--through chanting, meditation, mantra repetition, Hatha Yoga postures, bandhas, mudras, and other practices. Using these methods, a seeker has to struggle a great deal, and sometimes the results may be dangerous. Siddha yogis have the experience that it is easier to awaken the Shakti through the Guru's grace. This method is completely beneficial. 72. The intitiation performed by the Guru takes place easily and simply. The Siddhas state that when the Guru sows the seed of Shakti, the seed develops very naturally into a tree with flowers and fruit.
