Dear Melody,

This is indeed a beautiful way to experience 'God' (which Richard Moss

alludes to quite often in his books and writings). In the act of skiing,

you have to simply "go with the flow" and react naturally and intuitively

rather than bringing conscious thought into the matter. The moment you say

to yourself, "Oops, I should have bobbed left a little further," the flow

is broken and you are likely to fall down.

Might I suggest that the "act of skiing" may be brought into 'everyday

life' as well, and life lived 24/7 as if skiing? If so, if life can be

lived "instinctively" and "intuitively" rather than based on thought and

postulation, the door is opened for all sorts of miracles to occur. Skiing

is a brief act, and once it's over thought often intervenes again and the

monkey-mind again begins to chatter. But if that mind can be stilled, not

just temporarily but on an ongoing basis, it's possible to 'see God' in

everything, all the time.

With Love,

Tim
