Guest guest
As one zooms in on brain tissue to the nanometer level (10^-9), the comparison of what one sees is easy to make with a satellite picture of, i.e., the region around Kosovo. How does one affect, from 'outside time' the brain tissue he is attached to is still a wonderful miracle. But the way to affect a brain tissue, we call our own, to simply type a word, must not be much different than affecting what is seen from a picture satellite of the planet. I propose here, a very good resume of the problem of consciousness as seen in relation to the brain in a quantum mind perspective. Where the brain processes relevant to consciousness extend downward within neurons to the level of cytoskeletal microtubules. And why not extend to any form of duality one comes to encounter. The bread from the Christ being all those structures one eye can come to see. The wine being the flow from, outside of time, to those structures, in an act of 'perception'. No reward coming after the event can compare with the sweet reward that went with it." (Maeterlinck, Maurice)
