Guest guest
Dear Harsha, I read the other day that scientists have found, in the act of seeing, only 20% of mental activity involves the optic nerves. The other 80% involves other parts of the brain. In other words, in the act of seeing, there is nothing external to the seer. The physical eyes (or that which drives them) truly DO *project* a scene, rather than "take in" something external to us. All this activity, all these things seen with the eyes, are INSIDE US. They are not external to us. To me, this is an astounding truth, and validated by Western scientific research. That is a central and a most fascinating question. ----- Visit The Core of the WWW at: http://www.eskimo.com/~fewtch/ND/index.html Music, Poetry, Writings on Nondual Spiritual Topics.
