Yes, agreed. Even if one could, compassion is still important. Karma may

be something of an "impersonal" spiritual law, but that doesn't mean that

WE need to be impersonal about it. In fact, quite the contrary, we can

help lift and relieve some of that karma, or at least comfort and aid those

who are subject to it. If done selflessly, this is good for *our own* karma.

Agreed, folks in that situation don't need to be reminded that they are in

it, instead they need the love and support to see the road through it and

out.
