What the hey?

I come back from a couple days at my parent's house to find a bunch of

dogmatic, judgemental, reactionary posts purely on the level of thought, on

both lists. Even the simple statement on compassion I made was torn apart.

So what's with everyone the past couple days? Sheesh, even the Vedanta

posts I made (which I didn't write!) get ripped apart. Take it up with the

Vedanta Society of Southern California (and the Ramakrishna order of

India), they wrote it, not me. As for compassion, without it you might as

well be a dead lump of flesh, AFAIC. And karma... I'm aware Jerry

disagrees with the notion of karma. So what? All the Hindu scriptures

agree with the concept, Buddhists especially believes very strongly in it.

Nothing else explains why one person is born with greater ability than

another, and why lifespans differ so drastically. It's tied up with the

whole notion of reincarnation and cannot be separated from it at all.

What's up with everyone? Quiet your minds, meditate a while, be here now,

open your hearts. Y'all are sounding like *I* used to sound like (*BG*).
