But what of us warriors Harsha? Is their room for us? We are those that,

only after

becoming so fierce and so violent with our words and actions that soon, all

were

afraid to engage us for fear of seeing their own reflection and what they

might

become. Did not this also create in us a state of nonviolence? In other

words... we

have no need to be violent for we have claimed the victory for all men and

women by

conquering violence itself rather than skirt around it. We fought the

battles that

most were terrified to fight and yet, so that all could know, we fought for

them to

the other side and now here we sit together around the same circle. Surely,

there is

room for us.

Regards.

Harsha: Hi Tim (Harris). I don't know exactly what you are saying brother.

Could you clarify?

Harsha: The Ahimsa Council Of World Peace And Love (ACOWPAL) has been formed

and seems to have broad based support. The goal of the Council is to promote

nonviolent conflict resolution in every stage and aspect of life including

the educational systems. The members of the Council will act as either

active or passive moderators of the . Previously Jan and I

were the only moderators. The initial members of ACOWPAL are:

Jan, Marcus, Holly Barrett, Jill Eggers, Janpa Tsomo, Linda Callanan,

Madhya Nandi, and myself.

I don't exactly know what I am doing but we will probably add more people

and try to find out about other groups promoting nonviolence around the

world. Thanks.

Love to all

Harsha

In these few days since the Littleton massacre, we have been hearing on TV

about efforts going on to prevent such acts by working with young people

who are feeling violent and threatening others. I heard of a program that

is having much success with intensive therapy that includes the young

person, his family, his school, etc. It's good to know that something can

be done.

Please let us know when you see anything specific that we can do.

Love,

Dharma
