Guest guest
Hi Antoine, You know Antoine it is really an exact science if one knows how to read it. And if one can read it then it becomes possible to manipulate it. (I think). My friend James gave me something once which has proven quite interesting. I have been working with it for a year now at least. Maybe you would appreciate it. In each trigram there are three positions and in each position there is one of two possibilities. This makes for a possible eight states as follows. Consciousness explores Abstraction, and the result is strength and creativity, Sky/Heaven, + + + Consciousness considers Matter and the result is Attention and awareness, Fire, + - + Consciousness focusses on Matter and the result is Stillness and stopping, Mountain, + - - Consciousness works with Abstraction and the result is Initiative and action, Thunder, + + - Feeling sinks into Matter and the result is Receptivity and docility, Earth, - - - Thought works with Matter and the result is Penetration and following, Wind/Wood, - - + Feelings encounter Abstractions and the result Passion and danger, Water, - + - Thoughts play with Abstractions and the result is Joy and attraction, Lake/Sea, - + + So for instance if you consciously explore an abstraction you will end up with creativity and if you switch to consciously considering something concrete you will end up with awareness or attention. Try it sometime. Consciously explore an abstraction and watch the creative ideas come into your mentation system. Then switch to consciously considering something concrete and watch the resulting awareness. If you connect feeling wise with abstraction then passion arises and then if you switch to thinking about an abstraction joy enters. After awhile you begin to notice exactly what is going on in yourself and others. It takes some of the carmel crispies out of it if you know what I mean. :-) Marcia Antoine wrote: > Antoine <carrea > > Message: 10 > Fri, 23 Apr 1999 13:19:49 -0700 > Marcia Paul <jacpa > Re: transmuting negativity > > Hello Marcia, > > Antoine wrote: > > > May I ask you Marcia, how with time, since then, the way you came "to > > take more of this" came to change?
